What percentage of baseball do you think is mental? How often are our athletes working on these mental skillsets? 

If you’re looking to elevate the most important part of the game for your athlete, taking him from good to great, this Mental Performance development training is a MUST!

This is the 1st of our 2-Part Mental Performance Coaching Clinic designed for your athlete to master the mental skills that fuel success. Led by Certified Mental Performance Mastery Coaches, Russ Romano and Kevin Guzzo, these trainings will teach invaluable skills elevating their game on and off the field. Coach Romano & Guzzo will cover the following skills in the 1st of a 2-Part Series:

Series 1:

Mental Performance Training Camp (Online)

FormatSeries 1; 4 Virtual Video Group classes (45 min/class)

Ages: 9-10 yr old group, 11-13 yr old group, and 14-18 yr old group

Dates/times:

9-10U: Wednesdays from 6:15-7:00 PM on January 29; February 5, 12 and 19

11-13U: Wednesdays from 7:30-8:15 PM on January 29, February 5, 12 and 19

14-17U: Tuesdays from 5:30-6:15 PM on January 21 and 28; February 4 and 11

*Classes are limited to 20 athletes per age group.  Let’s help your athlete build the mental foundation to achieve greatness!

Cost: $264

Recommended: Athletes attend the virtual video trainings on their own devices.  Parents are encouraged to attend on separate devices.

Kevin Guzzo, CMAA, MPM Coach

  • Career educator and Athletic Director for 20 years.
  • Highly respected mental performance coach focused on empowering young athletes and teams to reach their full potential.
  • Expertise in:
    • Developing mental toughness, leadership, focus, and confidence to perform under pressure.
    • Providing strategies for visualization, goal-setting, stress management, and cultivating an elite mindset.
  • Certifications and leadership roles:
    • Certified Athletic Director (C.A.D.).
    • Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA).
    • President of the MIAAA.
    • MHSAA CAP Instructor.
    • Co-author of LTC 727.

Russ Romano, MPM Coach

  • Former Division 1 pitcher for the University of Vermont.
  • Passion for baseball and athlete development led to becoming a Certified Mental Performance Mastery (MPM) Coach.
  • Learned the importance of mental performance through the significant leap from high school to Division 1 collegiate sports.
  • Believes mental performance is a learned skillset, equally important as physical training.
  • Earned MPM Certification under renowned coach and former UVM teammate Brian Cain.
    • Brian Cain has worked with elite athletes, including Cy Young Award-winning MLB pitchers, UFC World Champions, and National Champion college programs.
    • Russ’s coaching program is based on Brian Cain’s 10 Pillars of Peak Performance.
